CUSTOMS REGULATIONS
- HOLDERS OF RESIDENCE CARDS MAY BRING IN USED HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND PERSONAL EFFECTS DUTY-FREE IF IN CUSTOMER'S POSSESSION FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS PRIOR TO MOVE
DUTIABLE/RESTRICTED ITEMS
- Alcoholic beverages
- New furniture
PROHIBITED ITEMS
- Firearms
- Drugs
- Ammunition
- Articles derived from endangered species such as ivory
MOTOR VEHICLES
- Permitted duty-free if the car has been in owner's possession and used for at least six months and owner is transferring residence to Luxembourg
- Documents required (in addition to above):
- Original Title
- Insurance Certificate covering the previous six months
- Certificate of Residence
PETS
- Dogs and cats permitted with recent Health Certificate
- Medical examination may be required on arrival
