Abandoned Freight

Customers abandon freight for many reason and generally customers will not share the reason why, they simply disappear. Freight gets abandoned at origin or destination. Abandoned Freight will happen when customers do not pay the invoice for 30 days. After that time the freight is legally abandoned and generally discarded by the origin terminal or destination terminal. All fees, storage, penalties, disposal fees are then charged back to original shipper on file.
